Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital was started in 1995 as a constituent college of Sri Ramachandra University 2020 Admissions are Started form March 2019.Utilising a floor space of 2, 29,000 sq.ft, the college has 330 well equipped dental chairs to fulfill the needs of the Undergraduates and Postgraduates in every branch of dentistry.
There are specially designed laboratories and teaching facilities such as lecture halls, auditoria and departmental seminar rooms and departmental libraries which make this a well recognised institution in the country. Our institute is an undergraduate college with 100 BDS seats, affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR medical university, Chennai and recognized by the Dental council of India.
The Chettinad Dental College and Research Institute is located in the Chettinad Health City in Kelambakkam on the Old Mahabalipuram road, otherwise known as Rajiv Gandhi Salai or the IT Highway. Admission of candidates for Ist year BDS Course is according to the sanctioned strength of 100 seats as approved by Dental Council of India /Government of Tamil Nadu/ The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University norms.
The Method of selection:
Ranking will be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the prescribed science subjects in the qualify examinations reduced to the base of 200 marks. .
In the case of candidates who have furnished the mark sheets of the qualifying examination, only in GRADES, the minimum marks of the grades alone will be taken in to consideration while determining the marks in the science Subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany and Zoology .
The Marks obtained through different boards will be taken into account after normalization.

Application costs Rs. 200/- along with information broucher Registration fee fixed as Rs. 500/- The Application form is downloadable www.tnppcahs.org candidates using downloaded application form shall send Rs. 700/- Demand Draft along with the application form .The Demand draft should be drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of “ TNPPCA-HS” payable at Chennai.

i. Candidates should have passed higher Secondary certificate Examination ( Academic) conducted by Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent examination with following group of subject.
Physics , Chemistry, Botany, Zoology (or) b. Physics , Chemistry, Biology.
ii. Candidates who have passed any other equivalent examinations with same group of subject should submit an eligibility certificate obtained from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University before admission to any institution for the course of their choice .
Age Limit:
Candidates should have completed the age of seventeen years on before 31st December 2012. Evidence should be produced .
