Placements at School of Pharmacy :
A centralized placement cell is exclusively interacting with industry, headed by a full-time placement officer. Training programs on soft skills were imparted on a regular basis, thus moulding the students to face the present recruitment processes. Further to enhance the confidence of the students, placement cell also has taken the initiative to periodically train students who were weak in communication. Tie-ups with various industries were also done for project training and placement, guest lecturers were arranged for the students by eminent personalities from reputed corporates.

Admission Procedure:
Vels Entrance Exam (VEE 2019) is a university level entrance exam managed by the Vels University. This exam is organized for admission in professional courses such as engineering, pharmacy, management, etc. To get admission in the university campuses, candidate has to qualify the Vels University Entrance Exam. The entrance exam will be conducted in the second week of May 2019. Here, we are updating all the information about VEE 2019 including application form, exam dates, eligibility, exam pattern, etc.

Eligibility: Candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology / Botany & Zoology according to PCI norms.

Admission Procedure:
1.Application for admission to a course should be made in the prescribed application form which is available along with the prospectus.
2. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted. All the details furnished by the candidates in the application form should be accurate and correct.
3. Applications received after the due date will be summarily rejected.
4. Completed application must accompany a Postal Order/ DD for Rs. 300/- as registration fees.
5. Application for admission to the courses should be submitted to the principal of the Jaya College of Pharmacy & Paramedical only by Designation and NOT BY NAME.
6. Certificate of permanent residence, should be produced by the candidates who have passed the HSC or their equivalent examinations from High Schools situated outside Tamil Nadu for considering them as candidate belonging to Tamil Nadu. (note: The name of guardian should be mentioned only if both parents of the candidate are deceased.)
Eligility Criteria:
Education Qualification : The candidates should have passed class 12th with Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry from a recognized board.
