About exam:

NIFT 2020

The candidates appeared in NIFT written entrance examination at the exam centres chosen by them. NIFT entrance examination was held to test the candidates’ knowledge, skill and aptitude for the programme they opted. There was no negative marking applied for this entrance exam.

There are two separate procedures of selection for B.Des and B.F.Tech programmes at the institute. On the basis of result of written test GAT and CAT, shortlisted B.Des candidates are called for second test called Situation Test. For B.F.Tech candidates, GAT is the final test for selection.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.or
  • General Certificate Education ( GCE ) Examination ( London / Cambridge / Sri – Lanka ) at the advanced (A) level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / International Baccalaureate ( IB ).or
  • Any Public School / Board / University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • 3 or 4 years diploma in any branch of Engineering recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education

How to Apply:

The NIFT Entrance Exam application form 2018 are available online and offline also. The application form along with the prospectus can be downloaded from the NIFT official website. The application fee can be remit via online through the payment gateway or through the Demand Draft in favour of “NIFT HO” payable at New Delhi. The application fee for the general category and non-creamy OBC candidates is Rs. 1400/- through the NIFT payment gateway and Rs. 1500/- through the DD. The application fee for the SC/ST/PHP candidates is Rs. 800/- through the NIFT payment gateway and Rs. 900/- through the DD. The candidates may remit their application fee through the credit/debit cards as per the explanation in theofficial site. The filled application form should reach physically at the below address before the prescribed date.

Syllabus:

For admission to the Bachelors of Design, the total score of every applicant will be a composite of:

  • 50 per cent – General Ability Test (GAT)
  • 30 per cent – Creative Ability Test (CAT)
  • 20 per cent – Situation Test

Admit Card:

JEE Main 2020 admit card will be available for those candidates who have successfully submitted their application form. The admit card of JEE Main 2020 will tentatively be available by the second week of March 2020. JEE Main admit card 2020 can be downloaded by entering application number and password. SASTRA University  Engineering Entrance Exam Counselling And Result 2020

JEE Main 2020 Result:

The Psg College Of Technology will announce the result of the engineering entrance examination on the official website. The candidates will be able to check it by clicking on the link here and entering the Registration Number and Date of Birth in the JEE Main 2020 result portal.

The result will state the score and the merit of the candidate. The score will be determined as per the marking scheme of the examination, whereas, the merit will be calculated on the basis of the secured marks.

JEE Main 2020 Counselling:

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2020 will regulate the common counselling for admissions to 92 Participating Institutes of JEE Main 2020. The main purpose of JoSAA is to provide a single online platform for the candidates to apply in the Participating Institutes of JEE Main 2020 across the country. Admissions to 31 NITs, 22 IITs, ISM Dhanbad, 20 IIITs and 18 Other Government funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) will be done through the JoSAA 2020. The Counselling of JEE Main 2019 will be held in 6 rounds. The Candidates who appears in JEE Main 2020 will be eligible to register for seat Allocation in the Participating Institutes of JEE Main 2020 and appear for the JEE Main 2020 Counselling.  The candidates will have to register, fill up their choices and lock their choices before appearing in the JEE Main 2020 Counselling.…
