VIT University Entrance Exam 2019

 About the Exam:

The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is known as VITEEE. VITEEE 2019 will be held in April 2019 for granting admissions to various undergraduate engineering programmes in its two campuses, Chennai and Vellore.  VIT University will conduct VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2019.  There are nearly 5,000 B.Tech seats for which around two lakh candidates register and appear every year.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants  should have secured an aggregate of 60 %  in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate)
• The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50 per cent for the SC/ST and North Eastern State
• Applicants  who have studied in regular, full time and formal education are also eligible to apply
• ‘NIOS’ candidates are eligible to appear for the VITEEE-2019
• The Applicants   whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1995 are eligible toapply for VITEEE-2019.

How to Apply:

VITEEE 2019 Application Form (online and offline) will be available from November, 2018 onwards. All the correspondence including centre booking and issue of e-admit card details will be through email only. So, the applicants must get ready with valid email id and mobile number for contact.

VITEEE 2019 Application Fees:

Online Application Form fee – 960 /-

Offline Application Fee – 990/-

Offline Application Form will be available in selected Head Post Offices.

Mode of Payment – Internet Banking facility through Net banking / Debit card / Credit card / and Demand Draft Mode

Exam Pattern:

VITEEE 2019 Exam Pattern is given below –

All questions will be of objective type and as per the exam pattern. Each question will be followed by 4 alternative answers. There will be no negative marking. The Duration of the exam is – 2.30 hours.

Syllabus:

VITEEE 2019 Syllabus will be mostly from the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE syllabus only. VITEEE 2019 Syllabus for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be available at VITEEE official website.
