About Us:
Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi is one of the reputed private Engineering Colleges started under self-financing scheme on 17th October 1984,2020 admissions started. MEPCO refers to the Metal Powder Company, Thirumangalam and Schlenk is the German collaborator of the company. The institution is sponsored by the Mepco Schlenk Charities, a social welfare organisation of the Metal Powder Company Limited, Thirumangalam, which has won many National Awards for the outstanding performance in export promotion and R & D. The college was affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai and now it is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai from 2001. Anna University Chennai confirmed the conferment of Autonomous Status by UGC, New Delhi to our college from the Academic Year 2013-2014.Sri.A.Vairaprakasam, Sri.A.Tenzing and Dr.S.Arivazhagan serve as the President, Correspondent and Principal of the college respectively.

Institute has well equipped labs with all modern facilities in all departments.
Sports Facilities
Fine Arts club encourages the students to take part in various intra & intercollegiate cultural festivals. Musical instruments (percussion, non-percussion & western), costumes, artificial jewels and other items are provided by the club.
Extra – Curricular Facilities\
Library is housed in a two storeyed separate building covering an area of 25,000 sq. ft. All the reading rooms in library have been air-conditioned to provide a congenial atmosphere to users. College library is well equipped in terms of the number of books, back volumes and current journals subscribed. College Library which is functioning under the open access system is having a total collection of 43541 books. The approximate annual addition is about 2500 volumes. 291 periodicals including 103 international journals are being subscribed in our Library.
Hostel Facilities
MEPCO has 5 Gents and 3 Ladies hostels in the campus that can accommodate around 1300 Gents and 900 girls. Boys & Girls hostels are also provided with computers to enable the students to work during late hours.

Admission Procedure:
Admission to all undergraduate courses ie. Bachelors in Engineering (B.E.) are carried out through the single window system of the Anna University. Students can choose the courses based upon the state-wise rank calculated by their marks in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Department of Education, Government of TamilNadu.
Reservations are provided for BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST etc as per the rules of the Government of TamilNadu.
Reservations are also provided for Physically handicapped / Ex-Service men / Sports persons / Other state candidates.
B.Arch Degree Admission:
Candidates having passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination with 50% marks as aggregate. , having Mathematics as a subject of study and obtained 80 marks out of 200 in NATA(National Aptitude Test for Architecture) test in any one of the attempt.
TNEA Admission process will commence after the counselling is over. Candidates have to report in the allotted colleges and submit the fees and complete the admission formalities.Candidates will have to verify there documents in the respective colleges and then pay the admission fees.
