Rajas Dental College and Hospital was established in the year 1987, affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and recognized by the Dental Council of India, 2019 admissions started. The Selvam Educational and Trust and Rajas Educational and Charitable Trust Vafakkangulam Were established in the year 1984 under the Chaimanship of Dr.S.A. Raja a popular philanthropist.

It is located at the National Highways NH 7b, Kavalkinaru junction in Tirunelveli District, Tamilnadu, at a distance of 20kms from Nagercoil and Kanyakumari. The college offers both Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Degree programmes in various specialties.
