BS Abdur Rahman University Entrance Exam 2019
About the Exam:
BSAUEEE 2019 – B.S. Abdur Rahman University will conduct the online entrance exam of BSAUEEE 2019 for admitting candidates in the undergraduate engineering programmes. Under BSAUEEE 2019, candidates will also be admitted on the basis of the rank secured by them in the as well as on the basis of the JEE Main 2019 score. Candidates aiming to seek admission in the B. Tech programmes at the university will have to fill the BSAUEEE 2019 application form in an online mode. Before filling the application form, candidates must ensure that they meet the requisite eligibility criteria of BSAUCEE 2019.
Eligibility Criteria:
Eligibility for BTech Programmes:
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- For Biotechnology and related programmes, 60 % of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology or a valid JEE Main score.
- Candidates should have appeared for the Engineering Entrance Examination (BSAUEEE –2019) conducted by the University.
- Students with a valid JEE Main score will also be considered eligible.
- Students appearing for 10+2 examination in March /April 2019 are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit:
- Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1994 are eligible to apply for BSAUEEE – 2019. The date of birth recorded in the High School / SSLC / Xth Standard Mark Sheet is considered as proof. Candidates are asked to produce this certificate in original as a proof of their age at the time of counselling.
Eligibility for B.Arch Programmes:
- Candidates are selected for admission to B.Arch. Programme based on their merit in Qualifying Examination (10 +2) and score obtained in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).
- Candidates should have minimum score of 40% in NATA

How to Apply:
Applicants can apply for BSAUEEE 2019 in two ways:
Online Application Process
- Apply for BSAUEEE or
- Register for JEE (Main)
Candidates who apply online have to make a payment of Rs. 750 / – through Internet banking / Credit Card / Debit Card or send a DD for Rs.750/- drawn in favour of ‘B.S.Abdur Rahman University’ payable at Chennai to the Director (Admissions).
On the back of the DD, aspirants have to write the name of the applicant and other details (BSAUEEE–2018). To obtain by post, aspirants are required to send a letter with DD for Rs. 800/-
Offline Application Process:
- Application forms can be obtained in person from the University Admission Office, on payment of Rs 750/-by cash or DD drawn in favour of “B.S.Abdur Rahman University”, payable at Chennai.
- Name of the applicant and other details (BSAUEE -2019) have to be written on the back of the DD.
- To obtain Application Form by post, candidates have to send a request letter to the following address along with a DD for Rs.800/- drawn in favour of ‘B.S. Abdur Rahman University’ payable at Chennai to the Director (Admissions). The back of the DD should contain the name of the applicant and programme they wish to apply (B.Tech. or B.Arch.) and other details.

Total Number of sections- There will be three sections and questions will be asked from Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics

Total Marks- 100

Total Number of questions in each Section- Physics-25, Chemistry 25, Mathematics-50

Marking Scheme- Candidates will get one mark for every correct answer

Duration of Exam- The BSAUEEE 2019 will be of two hours.
