About the Exam:
VEE 2018 (Vels Entrance Exam) will be organized for the students those wish to get admission in the Vels university campuses. VEE 2019 Entrance Exam is conducted by the Vels University to offer admission in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Law, and many other courses. It is a university level examination. Candidates have to pass the Vels University Entrance Exam for admission into above courses. Nationality:
- Candidate must be citizen of India.

How to Apply:
- Applicants can purchase the VEE application form either offline or online mode.
- VEE 2019 Application Form will be issued from the Last week of December 2018 till Last week of April 2019.
- Candidates can fill & submit the application form through online mode from the website.
- Candidates can download the form from the website & fill it. After form filling, candidates must send the filled application along with DD in the below address.
- Candidates can get the application via post by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with DD of Rs. 600. Candidates will also get the form from the Office of Vels University, Chennai. Candidates have to fill the application & send it along with Demand Draft of Rs. 300 in the below address.
Exam Pattern:
- Exam Duration: The duration of the exam will be 1 hour 30 min.
- Type of Question: Objective type questions will be asked in the examination.
- No. of Questions: The question paper will be comprised of 100 questions.
- Marking Scheme: One mark will be allotted to the candidates for correct response.

The official exam conducting body has decided some designated test centers for VEE 2019 Exam. The centre is allotted to the candidate by the centre allotted software. Request for altering the allotted centre will not be processed at any cost and in any situation. The designated centers are:

About the Admission Procedure:
Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) was conducted by Anna University previously. But from the few years there will be no entrance exam for admission in various engineering colleges. The candidates will get the admission on the basis of their class XII percentage. The candidates who are meeting the eligibility criteria will be eligible for the undergraduate courses offered by the various engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu. Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates have to check their eligibility first and then proceed to fill the application form. The TNEA eligibility criteria are given here:
General Eligibility:
- Candidates, those belong to the Tamil Nadu state & complete their 10+2 education from the state is eligible.
- Candidates, those don’t belong to the Tamil Nadu state, but pass their 10+2 education from the state can apply.
- Native candidate of Tamil Nadu who passes their 10+2 examination from another state can also apply but they have to submit a valid nativity certificate.
- Children of central government employees can also apply for the admission process. They have to show their parents/guardians native certificates who have been serving in Tamil Nadu for last five years continuously.
- Daughters & Son of All India Service Tamil Nadu Cadre Officers can also apply for this exam.

- Minimum Marks: Candidates have to score 50% marks (General Category), 45% marks (OBC Category) & 40% marks (MBC, DNC, SC, ST & SCA Category).

TNEA Merit List:
The admission into engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu will be based on class 12th Percentage. Candidates, those scores good marks in 10+2 examination, the priority will be given to them.
