About the Exam:
VTUEEE 2019 application form is available on October 5, 2018. The application forms of VTUEEE 2019 can be filled online and offline for both the phases – Phase 1 and Phase 2. The Phase 1 application form of VTUEEE 2019 is available from October 5, 2018 till January 21, 2019 and Phase 2 application form of VTUEEE 2019 is available from October 5, 2017 till April 15, 2019. VTUEEE 2018 is conducted to award Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship to all the qualified candidates of all B.Tech programmes available at the university. Admissions to B. Tech programmes available at the university are done on the basis on HSC marks, through single window counselling (Government Quota) and through consortium (Management Quota).

Eligibility Criteria:
VTUEEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria gives aspiring candidates the details about all eligibility conditions set by VTU, based on which the aspirants will be considered eligible to apply for VTUEEE 2019. The Eligibility Criteria of VTUEEE 2019 include requirements related to nationality, qualifying exam, age, domicile, etc.
Eligibility Criteria related to Nationality
- Candidates applying for VTUEEE 2019 must be of Indian origin.
- Non-resident Indians can also apply in VTUEEE 2019.
- Candidates of foreign origin cannot appear in VTUEEE 2019.
- For the purpose of consideration for award of the Veltech Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship, the State from which the candidate has studied and appeared for the qualifying examination (class XII or equivalent examination of the state or central board) will be taken as the state to which the candidate belongs, even though the nativity of the candidate may be another state/Union Territory.
Qualifying Exam related Eligibility
- Aspirants should have passed class XII from any state board/CBSE,New Delhi/CISCE, New Delhi/National Institute of Open School/Intermediate or two year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board or University/High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or equivalent.
- They should have passed class XII with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics/Biology as optional subject.
- Candidates pursuing their 12thor equivalent examination in March/April/May 2019 can also apply for VTUEEE 2019.
- Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir and The North Eastern states of Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh will have to produce Nativity Certificates at the time of admission.
Age Criteria
- Aspirants appearing in VTUEEE 2019 must be less than 25 years of age.
- The candidates belonging to Physically Challenged (PC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC) will get a relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit.
- The exam conducting authority may give age relaxation of up to six months in specific cases.
- The university will only consider Secondary Education Board/University certificate as proof of date of birt

Exam Pattern:
The Exam Pattern of VTUEEE 2019 is set by the exam conducting body, VTU. VTUEEE 2019 Exam Pattern reflects details about the sections basis which the paper is set. VTUEEE 2019 question paper will have questions from 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The total number of questions in VTUEEE 2019 is 100. The sectional distribution of questions in the exam pattern of VTUEEE 2019 includes 25 questions from Physics, 25 questions from Chemistry and 50 questions from Mathematics. The duration of VITUEEE 2019 will be 2.5 hours. 1 mark is awarded for correct answer, while there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
