About Us:
Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT), Coimbatore is a private Engineering College started in 1984 under the auspices of Ramanandha Adigalar Foundation, a charitable educational trust of Sakthi Group.2019 admissions started. This College is About 10 km from Central Bus Stand at Gandhipuram and 2 km off Sathy Road (national highway NH-209 leading to Mysore), the well-developed college campus spreads over a sprawling 150 acres of land. Under the able guidance and patronage of Arutselvar Dr. N. Mahalingam, Chairman, Sakthi Group and with the able administration of Dr.B.K.Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Co – Chairman, Sri. M.Balasubramaniam, Correspondent and Sri. Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, the college has developed excellent facilities and resources such as spacious classrooms, seminar halls, well-equipped laboratories, workshops, well-stocked libraries, dedicated highspeed internet connectivity (broadband) and well-qualified faculty. Five Academic Blocks house the different departments.
Facilities:
Classroom Facilities
The College has spacious classrooms, which are well equipped with contemporary facilities, such as audio systems, Overhead Projects. A well-equipped Resource Generation Room is set-up for the faculty to prepare teaching material and carry out research in their subject. They are designed to provide students with complete comfort for the intense hours of classrooms teaching and interaction.
Hostel Facilities
KCT has a hostel, which is integral part of the college campus. It has two particular segments for young men and young ladies understudies. The gents’ inn comprises four blocks with aggregate of 445 rooms with an ability to oblige 1335 understudies. The girl’s inn has an aggregate of 329 rooms in its three pieces with an ability to oblige 987 understudies. All boys and girls occupants of the inn are given rooms on a triple imparting premise. Every single common zone like eating, washrooms, entryway, porch, and so on are given independently to girl’s and boy’s inns.
Library
Mahatma Gandhi Central Library of our college is housed in the first floor of the Dr. MahalingamVigyanBhavan in an area of 16945 sq.ft. (1575 sq.m.). The main aim of the central library is to provide information services and access to print and e-resources to support the informational needs of the institute community. The fully computerized central library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of books, printed and electronic journals, CD-ROMs, on-line databases, audio video cassettes ,project reports etc. Open Access System is being followed to access the books and journals.
Transport
The College has a fleet of buses, vans and cars to transport students and staff from different places in and around Coimbatore to college and back. These buses operate along different routes starting from different locations approximately between 6.30 and 6.45 a.m. At present 8 buses and 6 mini buses are used.

Admission Procedure:
Admission to all undergraduate courses ie. Bachelors in Engineering (B.E.) are carried out through the single window system of the Anna University. Students can choose the courses based upon the state-wise rank calculated by their marks in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Department of Education, Government of TamilNadu.
Reservations are provided for BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST etc as per the rules of the Government of TamilNadu.
Reservations are also provided for Physically handicapped / Ex-Service men / Sports persons / Other state candidates.
B.Arch Degree Admission:
Candidates having passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination with 50% marks as aggregate. , having Mathematics as a subject of study and obtained 80 marks out of 200 in NATA(National Aptitude Test for Architecture) test in any one of the attempt.
TNEA Admission process will commence after the counselling is over. Candidates have to report in the allotted colleges and submit the fees and complete the admission formalities.Candidates will have to verify there documents in the respective colleges and then pay the admission fees.
Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) was conducted by Anna University previously. But from the few years there will be no entrance exam for admission in various engineering colleges. The candidates will get the admission on the basis of their class XII percentage. The candidates who are meeting the eligibility criteria will be eligible for the undergraduate courses offered by the various engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu. - Native candidate of Tamil Nadu who passes their 10+2 examination from another state can also apply but they have to submit a valid nativity certificate.
- Children of central government employees can also apply for the admission process. They have to show their parents/guardians native certificates who have been serving in Tamil Nadu for last five years continuously.
- Daughters & Son of All India Service Tamil Nadu Cadre Officers can also apply for this exam.
Age Criteria:
- Age Limit:Candidate’s age should be not less than 18 years & not exceed 25 years.
- Relaxation:There is an age relaxation for the reserved category as per the university rules.
Qualification Criteria:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to complete their 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM as a compulsory subject from a recognized board.

How to Apply:
The application form of TNEA 2020 will be available only in online mode. After filling in the online registration of TNEA application form 2020, the candidate will have to send printout of the completed online application in person or by post to:

The application form must be accompanied by photocopies of relevant certificates and photographs and must reach the above mentioned address on or before the last date. The registration fee must be paid only online. Candidates must pay the registration fee as per the category they belong to, or else their applications will be rejected.

TNEA Merit List:

Counselling will be held in offline mode and the candidate has to be present in person. If the candidate is unable to attend counselling for some unavoidable reasons, the parent of the candidate is allowed to attend counselling on behalf of the candidate.

Placements:
The placement cell of KCT organizes career guidance programs for the students. The cell arranges training programs like aptitude training, facing the interview, group discussions, soft skill trainings, etc. They also invite HR managers from different industries to conduct training programs for the students.

The Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust was founded in Erode district, Tamil Nadu, in October 1983 by forty one philanthropists of Kongu Vellalar Community,2019 admissions started. The Trust established Kongu Engineering College in 1984. Other institutions founded by the Trust are Kongu Polytechnic College in 1983, Kongu Arts and Science College in 1994, Kongu Industrial Training Center in 1997 and Kongu National Matriculation Higher Secondary School in 2002.

Facilities:
Library
The college library was established in 1984, housed in a classroom with 700 books. In 1986 when the college was shifted to its permanent building, the library occupied a lecture hall in the first floor of the main building. In 1991, it was shifted to the present building, C.D. Memorial Library, in honor of the founder Correspondent, Thiru. C. Duraisamy. In 2005, the library building was extended from five sections to 12 sections with discussion rooms, modern furniture, and air conditioning. The new building includes a hall for Video-Conferencing.
The digital library has a collection of CDs and floppy disks including sources such as GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and ISI codes. In addition, 529 audio and video cassettes are available in the department libraries. It provides a number of Online Electronic Database like IEEE, ACM, ASME and ASCE online CD-ROM databases. Proquest science online journals are also available in CD-ROMs.

Institute has well equipped labs with all modern facilities in all departments.

It has the facility of Web OPAC-online search. So the library catalog can be accessed through intranet, in future through internet. - Age Limit:Candidate’s age should be not less than 18 years & not exceed 25 years.
- Relaxation:There is an age relaxation for the reserved category as per the university rules.
Qualification Criteria:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to complete their 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM as a compulsory subject from a recognized board.
- Minimum Marks: Candidates have to score 50% marks (General Category), 45% marks (OBC Category) & 40% marks (MBC, DNC, SC, ST & SCA Category).

How to Apply:
The application form of TNEA 2020 will be available only in online mode. After filling in the online registration of TNEA application form 2020, the candidate will have to send printout of the completed online application in person or by post to:

The application form must be accompanied by photocopies of relevant certificates and photographs and must reach the above mentioned address on or before the last date. The registration fee must be paid only online. Candidates must pay the registration fee as per the category they belong to, or else their applications will be rejected.
When filling the application form of TNEA 2020, care must be taken to enter only genuine information. The TNEA application form 2019 will include fields like education details and personal details. Also, when uploading any documents, the candidate must conform to the prescribed format.
TNEA Merit List:
The admission into engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu will be based on class 12th Percentage. Candidates, those scores good marks in 10+2 examination, the priority will be given to them. On the basis of 12th percentage, the authority will release rank list. The TNEA Results/rank list will be published in the 4th week of June 2018. Candidates will get admission in the engineering Institution on the basis of the merit list.
TNEA 2020 Counselling:
The counselling of TNEA 2019 will be carried out according to merit and category-wise reservation of seats. Higher ranked candidates will be called for counselling of TNEA 2019 first and have more options to choose from. Candidates can pick their choices of branches and colleges from the available options at the time of counselling. Counselling will be held in offline mode and the candidate has to be present in person. If the candidate is unable to attend counselling for some unavoidable reasons, the parent of the candidate is allowed to attend counselling on behalf of the candidate.
Candidates who get shortlisted for counselling of TNEA 2019 have to pay the counselling fee either through Cash or DD. On the day of counselling, the candidate must also bring along originals of all relevant documents.

About us:
Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET), Coimbatore was established in the year 1998 for providing quality technical education to the young minds of the state,2020 admissions started. The amazing world class campus of SKCET was established in the Golden Jubilee year of Indian Independence with 180 students. It is run by Sri Krishna Institutions along with five other Educational Institutions and it is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE. The adorable campus is located in NH47 highway, just 3 kms from the heart of the city. The college was granted Autonomous status since the year 2011 due to its significant growth in short span of time.
SKCET is built with an ambience which stimulates intellectual thinking and academic interaction. The college is the epitome of the vision of its founder Sri. S. Vankatram. He envisioned the college to be international standard, be it buildings, equipments, teaching-learning process. The college has now grown in size and stature under the competent administration of Smt. S. Malarvizhi, the Chairperson and Managing Trustee of Sri Krishna Group of Institutions. Presently, the annual intake of students is more than 1400 and the college has rendered its fruitful service to the society in a spectacular way. The infrastructure facilities on the campus include classrooms with multimedia equipment/overhead projectors, faculty and administrative blocks, a state-of-the-art library, modern computer labs, and a three-storey student residence.

The Institute has resident-hall facilities for boys and girls separately. Both the halls are located on the campus. The resident rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The students are required to have their own computers in their rooms, which have connectivity with Local Area Network and internet.

Computing facilities for the students include more than 12 laboratories with about 1000 computers.
Transport
We are providing college bus service from various prominent locations all over the city to the college. This is despite the location of the college at the heart of the city. We have a fleet of 15 buses to cater to the transportation needs of students and staff. The bus picks up students outside the city as well as the places near the college and will drop them at the same point each day. We ensure the students safety by employing well experienced set of drivers with speed control devices and first aid box in all the buses.

Admission Procedure:
Admission to all undergraduate courses ie. Bachelors in Engineering (B.E.) are carried out through the single window system of the Anna University. Students can choose the courses based upon the state-wise rank calculated by their marks in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Department of Education, Government of TamilNadu.
Reservations are provided for BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST etc as per the rules of the Government of TamilNadu.
Reservations are also provided for Physically handicapped / Ex-Service men / Sports persons / Other state candidates.
B.Arch Degree Admission:
Candidates having passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination with 50% marks as aggregate. , having Mathematics as a subject of study and obtained 80 marks out of 200 in NATA(National Aptitude Test for Architecture) test in any one of the attempt.
TNEA Admission process will commence after the counselling is over. Candidates have to report in the allotted colleges and submit the fees and complete the admission formalities.Candidates will have to verify there documents in the respective colleges and then pay the admission fees.
