IMU CET Result 2018

The IMU CET 2018 results will be announced in the 2nd week of June 2018. Candidates will check their results through online mode from our website. The authority will also send automated email/SMS regarding publication of the result. On the basis of the CET Score, candidates will be selected for the further counselling procedure.

IMU CET 2018 Counselling

After the declaration of the result, shortlisted candidates have to register for counselling procedure. The online counselling registration will be started from the 2nd week of June 2018. The online counselling will be limited for admission into IMU campuses only. The affiliated institutions will not be included in the online counselling process. Candidates, those qualified the IMU CET 2018 exam may approach the Institution directly. The counselling procedure will consist of document verification, physical fitness clearance, etc. Through the counselling process, the seat will be allotted to the candidates.…

About the Exam:

Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET 2018) is an all India online common entrance tests managed by the Indian Maritime University. IMU CET is conducted to get admission into undergraduate & postgraduate courses in the area of marine. These programmes are offered by the IMU and its affiliated Institution. The exam will be conducted in the 1st week of June 2018. Here, we have mentioned the complete details about IMU CET 2018.

IMUCET Eligibility Criteria:

  • If candidates have to apply for the IMU CET 2018, they have to check their eligibility first and then proceed to further process. Here, we are mentioning the IMU CET eligibility criteria:

    Age Criteria:

    • Age Limit: The minimum age should be 17 years and maximum age should be 25 years on or before 1st August 2018.
    • Relaxation: There is relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates.
    • Martial Status: Only unmarried candidates can apply for this exam.

  • Candidates can fill the IMU CET 2018 application form through online mode from the website.
  • The application form will be available from the 1st week of April 2018 till 2nd week of May 2018.
  • Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph, signature, 10th Mark sheet photocopy & category certificate (SC/ST).
  • Candidates should download and print filled-in application in standard format.
  • After the successful submission of the application form, automated e-mails/SMS will be sent to the candidates.

Application Fee

IMU CET 2018 application fee is given below:

  • Candidates can make payments via online or offline mode.
  • They can submit the fee through net banking/credit card or bank challan.
  • The application fee is Rs. 1000 for General candidates & Rs. 700 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates.

 

IMU CET 2018 Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern is mentioned here:

  • Mode of Exam: IMU CET will be held through online mode (Computer Based Exam).
  • Type of Questions: The question will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • No. of Questions: Total 200 questions will be asked in the examination.
  • Time Duration: The total time duration of the whole exam is 3 hours
  • Marking Scheme: Each question carries one mark for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for the wrong answer.

  • The candidate appearing for the MBBS entrance exam should have passed their 12thgrade exams with a minimum of 50% from either the state or equivalent board.
  • In case they have not given their 12thgrade exams, they should have passed an equivalent course or grade to be qualified for this entrance examination
  • A minimum of 50% overall, and 50% individually in Physics, Biology and Chemistry is required to be eligible to take this exam
  • In case the candidates have not taken a course equivalent to the 12thgrade examination, they may need to train themselves in pre professional courses before applying for the examination
  • Passing in English is mandatory to be eligible for this examination
  • It is also important to have passed the practical examinations for Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  • In case the candidate has just appeared for the examination and is awaiting the result, he/she is eligible to appear for the exam
  • In case the candidate fails to pass the examination after having appeared for the entrance exam, his/her candidature will be disqualified
  • In case of passing through reevaluation, the candidate might be reinstated and would be considered for the course
