Adhiparasakthi Engineering College, Kanchipuram was established in 1984 with the blessings of the Founder President His Holiness Arulthiru Bangaru Adigalar in order to meet the growing demands for engineers in the modern industries. The institution is affiliated to Anna University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education,2020 admissions started. It is one of the prestigious educational institutions functioning under the Adhiparasakthi Charitable, Medical, Educational and Cultural Trust.
The vision of Adhiparasakthi Engineering College is committed to creating high quality engineers, who have a sense of service and spirituality in order to advance the growth of the society at large through the adoption of appropriate technologies and ensure their sustainability.The mission of the institute is to impart high quality education with emphasis on contemporary technologies that helps achieve growth across the spectrum of society, cultivate empathy and discipline and create a spiritual environment.

Library:
The College Library was started in the year 1984, and also functioning in the Main Building of the college (Main Block). Now it has been shifted to a spacious New Central Library Block with an area of 4000sq.m. It is a two-storied Building. A Conference Hall, Audio-visual section, Reference Section, Language Lab, Digital Library are in the first floor Stacksections, Circulation Section, Informal Reading Section, Book Bank Section and binding Section are in the Ground Floor.

Central Lab:
Centralized Computer Centre has been fully air conditioned.At a time 400 students can work individually. The system configuration is mostly Core i3 2nd Generation, Core i5 and Core 2 Duo.. Sophisticated and latest software have been purchased to enable the faculty as well as students to pursue their research / project works. Software and packages as per norms of AICTE and Anna University are loaded. Hardware peripheral facilities are available in plenty.
Hostel:
Every effort has been made at APEC to provide the beset facilities for the students who live on the campus. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls. The inmates of hostel are provided with reading table, chair, cot and fans. Hygienic steam boiled food is served in each dining hall, which can accommodate 600 persons at a time in Gents Hostel. Mineral water is available throughout the day. Ensures maximum security.Electric power cut problem is smartly managed with 500 KVA generators for Gents Hostel and 1000 KVA for Ladies Hostel. Library and Recreational Facilities Including gymnasium, reading room, audio video halls are also well provided
Transport:
Transport facility is well provided for students and staff, who commute to college from far away places. Around 90 kms radius of distance is covered by the 10 numbers of well-maintained college buses, which connect various places like Chennai, Chengalpet, Cheyyar, Kalpakkam, Kanchipuram, Tindivanam, Pondicherry, Vandavasi and Villupuram. Moreover APEC MMR is well connected by Road and Railways.
Canteen:
College provides excellent canteen facility for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian eaters in separate enclosures. A fast-food outlet is also attached to the canteen, serves delicious non-vegetarian and vegetarian food at reasonable prices.

Admission Procedure:
Admission to all undergraduate courses ie. Bachelors in Engineering (B.E.) are carried out through the single window system of the Anna University. Students can choose the courses based upon the state-wise rank calculated by their marks in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Department of Education, Government of TamilNadu.
Reservations are provided for BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST etc as per the rules of the Government of TamilNadu.
Reservations are also provided for Physically handicapped / Ex-Service men / Sports persons / Other state candidates.
B.Arch Degree Admission:
Candidates having passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination with 50% marks as aggregate. , having Mathematics as a subject of study and obtained 80 marks out of 200 in NATA(National Aptitude Test for Architecture) test in any one of the attempt.
TNEA Admission process will commence after the counselling is over. Candidates have to report in the allotted colleges and submit the fees and complete the admission formalities.Candidates will have to verify there documents in the respective colleges and then pay the admission fees.
