Annapoorana Medical College & Hospital (AMCH) is a modern medical institution located in NH-47, 16 km. from Salem city, Tamil Nadu, amidst scenic & serene atmosphere. The sprawling campus of 45.40 3/4 acres land holds the state of the art College & hospital. AMCH is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and started in the year 2011 on approval from Ministry Of Health and Family Welfare Govt.Of India .AMCH is run by VMRF Trust, and was established by Salem based educationist and philanthropist Late Dr. A. Shanmugasundaram who is our guiding force of energy and Founder Chairman.
The Central Library in Annapoorana Medical College to serve the varied needs of its many readers efficiently. The Library is made available to the staff, and medical students, a wide collection of medical literature, including Books, Journals, and Reference Sources. Newly published information available to the medical student, the practicing doctor, the research scientist, other personnel and students, demands a flexible library system and trained library staff. It should enable readers to obtain the information they seek in the most expeditious and efficient manner. The Library Staff hope to serve you conscientiously and well, and thereby make their contribution to the optimum practice of the art and science of medicine.
Separate hostel facilities are available for Boys and Girls. There are 132 Rooms for Boys and 109 Rooms for Girls.
Rooms are provided with adequate furniture. Each hostel has a recreation and study room. Separate mess is available in both the hostels. RO Plant for drinking water is installed in both the hostels

NEET 2018 Examination is likely to be held on 6th May (Sunday) 2018. NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018. It is the national level examination for admission to MBBS & BDS courses. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is the conducting authority which organizes the NEET examination every year in various cities across the country.

Successfully registered candidates will be able to download the NEET Admit Card. The admit card will be released in the 1st week of April 2018. The authority shall not provide the admit card by post. The NEET hall ticket will contain details like Candidate Name, Father Name, Category, Photograph, Roll Number, Exam Date & Timing, Exam centre, etc. Candidates are advised to preserve the admit card till the admission process gets over.
The authority shall release the NEET Result via online mode through the website. Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number and other required details in the website. Students are advised to keep extra printouts of the result for further use. A merit list will be prepared for admission as per the guidelines from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI and DCI.
Students will be able to participate in the counselling process according to their rank. Counselling for 15% All India Quota will be organized by MCC of Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) through online mode. Counselling for other than 15% All India Quota will be managed by the respective authorities.
