MAHER University of Architecture, Chennai was established in 2004,2018 admissions are started.The university was formally known as Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research Trust. The trust since its establishment, has grown from a humble beginning to the status of deemed university – University of Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research with an impressive complex of educational institutions . Today MAHER University is marching towards a golden future with the members of the trust functioning with missionary zeal and dedication, striving to establish more educational institutions and hospitals towards the betterment of mankind.
The Government of India in Ministry of Human Resource Development and Department of Secondary and Higher Education, New Delhi on the advice of the University Grants Commission, conferred deemed to be university status to “Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER)” as per Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 .
