Following the landmark Maternal and Child Care Centre launch at Vedapatti, Coimbatore in 1961, PSG Trust opened new vistas in medical education with the launch of “PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research“ in September 1985. The same year the Trust celebrated the 60th year of service to society.
The Prime objective of the Central Library is to provide a wide range of current, accurate and authoritative information from a vast selection of print and electronic resources to foster scholarly education, research and informational needs of the user. The Central Library has a sprawling space of 39604 sq.ft distributed in 3 floors in exclusive Library block. here are over 25000 text and reference books spanning all the disciplines of medicine and research. The library subscribes to 440 Indian and International Journals (print and online inclusive) The Library works on all days from 8 a.m to 12 p.m (Midnight). The Library remains open on all national and local public holidays
The PSG Hospitals is supported by very well-equipped, modern labs for Clinical Pathology, Haematology, Biochemistry and Microbiology. These labs are equipped with some of the latest fully computerized state of the art equipments which ensure accuracy and dependability of the investigations done. This in turn contributes significantly to efficient patient management. In addition to the routine tests, facilities are available for the the measurement of arterial blood gases, endocrine parameters, diagnosis of bleeding disorders and haemolytic anaemias. The Department of Microbiology is equipped to diagnose many of the common as well as rare infections and autoimmune diseases. The PSG Hospitals laboratories and Blood Bank follow rigid quality control measures and are participants in internal and external quality assurance programmes.
Our hostel is coupled with scenic views in a serene atmosphere and security surveillance. Our international hostel is provided with all the necessary amenities round the clock. In total the hostel provide students a home away from home experience.

NEET 2020 Examination is likely to be held on 6th May (Sunday) 2020. NEET 2020 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2020. It is the national level examination for admission to MBBS & BDS courses. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is the conducting authority which organizes the NEET examination every year in various cities across the country.

Successfully registered candidates will be able to download the NEET Admit Card. The admit card will be released in the 1st week of April 2020. The authority shall not provide the admit card by post. The NEET hall ticket will contain details like Candidate Name, Father Name, Category, Photograph, Roll Number, Exam Date & Timing, Exam centre, etc. Candidates are advised to preserve the admit card till the admission process gets over.
The authority shall release the NEET Result via online mode through the website. Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number and other required details in the website. Students are advised to keep extra printouts of the result for further use. A merit list will be prepared for admission as per the guidelines from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI and DCI.
Students will be able to participate in the counselling process according to their rank. Counselling for 15% All India Quota will be organized by MCC of Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) through online mode. Counselling for other than 15% All India Quota will be managed by the respective authorities.

The eligibility criteria prescribed by the competent authority for NEET PG 2018 is given below. Candidates must confirm their eligibility before applying.
The NEET PG 2018 admit card will be available via online mode in candidates registered email ID before 4 days from the examination date. Candidates have to take the printout of the admit card through the official link and paste a photograph in it. Candidates also have to bring the valid photo ID proof (PAN card, Driving license, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhaar Card) at the examination centre. Without valid admit card, candidates will not be permitted to appear in the examination.
NBE releases NEET PG 2018 Result by January 31, 2018. Result is valid for MD / MS / PG Diploma admission 2018. In case of tie, order of getting merit is first on basis of more number of correct answers, then MBBS percentage score, and then date of birth. Result of NEET PG 2018 indicates percentile rank overall, rank on All India Basis and category basis. Candidates can download mark sheet cum result certificate of NEET PG 2018 for All India 50% Quota from nbe.edu.in.
A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the NEET-PG examination. The merit list will be categorized into, i.e. All India NEET PG 2018 rank, All India 50% quota rank, All India 50% quota category rank and State quota/ Private medical colleges rank. Candidates can participate in the counselling process according to their rank. In the counselling process, candidates have to fill their choices of colleges and courses. Admission will be done as per the rank, filled preferences and seat availability.
